Coco
Located at the corner of West 41st Avenue and Alberta Street, this six-storey building effectively balances design considerations at urban and domestic scales with responsive massing adjustments and varied façade treatments. Continuous balconies, grouped into deep, concrete frames arranged irregularly, create a dynamic vertical façade. Frameless glass panels, integrated above the glass balcony guard, retract and collapse when desired, serving as an acoustic and climate buffer that allows greater privacy, functionality, and use of the balcony in all types of weather.
