Como Lake & Clark

Como Lake & Clark

The site, positioned at Clarke Road and Como Lake Road, features a unique "flatiron" shape accentuated by the Evergreen Line that clips its eastern edge. It includes both market and rental towers, each with commercial frontage. An integrated urban plaza and open space connect the two towers, creating a seamless flow for pedestrians from Clarke Road through to the rear lane.

The 49-story market tower showcases a slender, square profile, prioritizing continuous planar surfaces for a clean aesthetic, while offset balconies and a glazed "lantern" penthouse add visual rhythm. Conversely, the 13-story rental tower employs a cruciform shape maximizing light and outdoor space, with a rooftop pavilion and steel sun louvers. Public realm design includes a vibrant Clarke Street plaza, framing louvered trellises and commercial frontages that blend with the transit village concept. Landscaped “green islands” and an organizational grid reinforce pedestrian flow, while tree canopies and shaded areas provide human-scaled comfort. Sustainable planting strategies improve stormwater management, promote biodiversity, and foster community, creating a dynamic, transit-oriented destination that integrates with its surrounding neighborhood.
