The City of Lougheed - Phase 1

The site is adjacent to a SkyTrain station served by both the new “Evergreen” line and the existing “Millennium” line. As a result, it is classified by “Metro Vancouver’s Growth Strategy” as an Urban Centre and a focal point for concentrated growth and transit services.

This first phase is significant, as it sets the tone for future phases and establishes an important gateway and landmark for the city of Burnaby. The project includes 1.5 million square feet of residential space across four towers ranging from 30 to 55 storeys in height, offering a mix of market and rental housing.

The four towers rise above an intricately designed podium with active frontages facing the surrounding streets. The podium houses a diverse range of retail and commercial spaces, including banking, dining, and office uses. A major food store also anchors the development. Behind these vibrant retail and commercial areas, parking for 1,800 cars is seamlessly integrated and completely hidden from view.
