Achim Charisius
Associate Principal
Achim’s work has encompassed project types from Master-Planned Communities to complex-mixed use developments, residential and commercial projects. He has been instrumental in iconic and award-winning designs both nationally and internationally and is adept at leading multi-disciplined teams.
His most recent projects include Khupkapay, an innovative pre-manufactured mass timber development in Vancouver which is aiming for Passive House certification, as well as Brentwood 3 - which is a multi-phased residential tower/park development in Burnaby. He has received the RAIC National Urban Design Award for his work on the Blatchford Redevelopment in Edmonton.
Achim earned his architectural degree from ETH Zürich, Switzerland. Achim is a registered architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, a Certified Passive House Designer and LEED AP. He has served on the New Westminster Advisory Design Panel.
