Roberto’s international design experience includes a variety of typologies, from master planning to mixed-used high-rises and single-family housing. He has contributed to the design of award-winning entries in international competitions, which gave him the opportunity to work on institutional and transportation hub proposals. His diverse experience, flexible thinking and design sensibility enable him to approach projects with different programs and context characters. He believes that as designers, we have the responsibility and opportunity to shape the identity of a place and the social interactions of communities through architecture and urban planning.
Roberto has led the design for Block, a mixed-use tower in Downtown Vancouver that includes a heritage conservation, a hotel and a residential component, and is presently under construction. He is currently involved in the design stage of several mixed-use developments, as well as market and non-market residential projects.
Roberto earned his Master of Architecture degree from the Università degli Studi di Cagliari, in Italy. Outside of the office, he has recently joined the mentorship program for final-year students at SALA.
